jetVideo is a basic video player which can play several video and audio formats including DVD video, RealMedia, WMV, AVI and MP3.
The interface of jetVideo is pretty straightforward and features a dark overall interface. As with most other media players, basic controls are supports upfront like Play, Pause, Stop, etc. Opening files should be done through the playlist. You can drag and drop files from the Windows Explorer directly into the playlist.
Video format support with jetVideo can be a little bit shaky, depending on which video codecs you have installed on your system. In our tests, a couple of errors popped up during playback though the video just kept on playing without issues.
Playing media with jetVideo a accompanied by different controls like repeat and shuffle, audio enhancements, sound effects and the loading of subtitle files. The button in the top-left corner of the interface forces jetVideo to always stay on top of other windows.
All in all, this is a pretty good media player but it does contain advertising in some sections which can be annoying. With that aside, its default skin might make it a more attractive option than some other freeware media players.
